Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs until frothy; beat in remaining ingredients until smooth.
  2. Pour batter onto hot waffle iron.
  3. Bake about 5 minutes or until steaming stops.
